Saturday, June 25 – Friday, July 1, 2016

The application for Feed Your Soul 2016 is now closed. Thank you for your interest in this year's program. If you have applied, we will be sending out notifications of acceptance in late December. If you are interested in the 2017 program, please feel free to fill out the form below to join our mailing list.

Feed Your Soul at MECA is a week-long studio-based program designed to allow you to take workshops with MECA’s faculty, work on your own work in MECA’s studios and state-of-the-art facilities, explore the vibrant art scene of Portland, Maine, and give you time for professional development and networking.

The program offers up to 30 hours of studio-based workshops and 24/7 studio access. Each participant can apply for up to two fifteen-hour workshops and individual studio spaces.

The program offers up to 30 hours of in-class workshop and lecture time, and 24/7 studio access over five days. Workshops will be lead by MECA’s faculty and may include Ceramics, Jewelry, Painting, Figure Drawing, Woodworking, Photography, Printmaking, Textile and Fashion Design, among others. Workshop offerings are listed below.

Studio Space
Individual studios are available on a space-available basis at no additional charge. This is a great opportunity for participants that would like the option of having their own studio space during the duration of the program. There are a variety of studio spaces to chose from adjacent to your favorite studio area. You will have 24/7 studio access during the program to make as much art as you want!
